Privacy notice
Short, because there is not much to say. We built the site so that the interesting parts never see your data at all.
What runs in your browser
The simulator, the portfolio check and the four tools compute entirely on your device from public NAV files that download to you. What you type into them is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. The portfolio check keeps your entered holdings in your browser's own storage so you can return to them; that storage is on your device only, and "Clear all" removes it.
If you create an account
We store your name, email address and password (the password is held by Google Firebase Authentication, hashed, and never seen by us), plus what you choose to save: the funds you enter on the portfolio check, your watchlist, your answers to the sign-up questions, and any paid-plan request, including a phone number if you give one so we can call you. This sits in Google Firestore under rules that let only you, and us, read it. It is used to run your account and, if you asked for a paid plan, to verify you. It is never sold, shared or used for advertising.
What we store, and only with consent
If you join the founding list, we store the email address you give, the answers you choose, any notes you write, the page you came from, and, if you ran the simulator first, the rupee result and fund name it produced. This is stored in Google Firestore in a database readable only by us. It is used to contact you about the founding hundred and to decide what to build. It is never sold, shared or used for advertising.
What we do not collect
No PAN, no date of birth, no bank details, no statements, and no phone number unless you choose to give one with a paid-plan request. None of that is needed to answer a question, and we will ask for it only when, and if, you become an advisory client under a signed agreement, at which point a separate notice applies.
Analytics
We use PostHog, hosted in the United States, to understand which pages and tools are used and where people drop off. It starts only after your first interaction with a page, records page views and clicks, and does not record the contents of any form field. You can block it with any standard content blocker and the site works identically.
Cookies
PostHog sets a cookie to tell one visit from the next. Nothing else on the site sets a cookie. If you log in, your session is kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and logging out removes it.
Deletion
Delete your account from your dashboard and it goes at once, with everything saved in it. Or email support@corpusbadhao.com from the address you gave and everything we hold about you is deleted within seven days, no questions asked and nothing kept back.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that affects you, the date below changes and, if you are on the list, you will hear about it by email before it takes effect.
